Avalanche Party Animals, Most Successful NFT Project To Date?

One of the most succesful Avalanche NFT projects of 2021, Avalanche Party Animals, is loosely based on the much loved, and much memed, Avalanche “Wolfie”.

The development team creatively went to town on the un-official AVAX mascot to create this excellent project. The level of detail is extraordinary, somehow retaining the simplicity of the original, but elevating him/her/it to an entirely different level of artistic genius. 

Originally there were 10,000 unique characters and they completed their mint within a day of opening the doors to the appropriately named Party Mansion.

Engagement with the community on all mediums has been consistent and inspiring, you get the feeling that the team behind the project care not only about the art they create, but also about the people and the Avalanche Community as a whole. Long may it continue. 

They recently held a charity event with one of our favourite artists in the Avalanche Space, Marvin Paradox. Needless to say, it was a huge success and benefitted an excellent cause in the process, GiveWell. They also host regular Live Drawing Sessions that showcase the level of time, effort and pride that goes into each piece. The drawing sessions are a great way to understand the attention to detail that goes into NFT art.

The website is a fitting extension of the creative excellence of the team, it is arguably one of the best websites in the entire NFT space. It’s certainly currently one of our all-time favourite websites. Period. 

Usability is unsurpassed and it really sets a high benchmark for future projects to follow. We notice new details every time we visit, the interactive light switch and background visuals are just some of the fantastic features that catch the eye and engage.

Sales figures are very interesting for this project, it was a certifiable hit right from the start. They have a history of consistently high sales, for example the Santa APA sold for 350 AVAX shortly after the initial mint was completed. Currently, they have a floor price of 3.5 AVAX at Kalao and the majority are listed at 20+ AVAX. 

The list of Honorary APAs is impressive and extensive. All of the members have adopted their individual APAs as Twitter PFPs and it’s clear that they genuinely love them. Among our favourites: Satsdart, Luigi, Patrick O’Grady and Omer.

We recently held a poll on Twitter and APA was the clear winner for the Most Successful Avalanche NFT Project. Clearly, we are not the only super fans.

They are the only project that aced all of our pre-mint selection criteria. Visuals, Check. Website, Check. Community Vibe, Check. There is no doubt in our mind that this is currently the creative pinnacle of Avalanche NFTs. No project is really on the same level as APA as it stands.
