This Saturday the 22nd of October at 7pm UTC – when worlds collide… the first AVAX Tombheads Auction House.
The event on Saturday is a live NFT auction showcasing the incredible 1/1 NFT artists on the Avalanche (AVAX) chain. The sprawling lineup is stacked with talent, from AVAX legends TapTapKaboom and Forexus, to cross-chain powerhouses TeensOnAcid and KnownAsDead. This is an event that will bring together like minded creators, collectors and audiences across both Fantom and AVAX.

What is it?
Tombheads Auction House is a hub for Fantom artists. Weekly, creators gather to showcase their work to the wider NFT community, creating high-octane auctions where talented creators receive bids from the live audience.
Tombheads has hosted 55+ auctions on Fantom in the past 12 months, and the team is thrilled to be bringing their community, innovative NFT sales model, and overwhelming support to AVAX!
How does it work?
The artist takes the stage on discord with the two hosts, and after giving a background about themselves and/or the piece for sale- the bidding commences! Within the auction-bidding channel on discord, each bid is recorded, with a minimum of 0.1 AVAX between each bid.
The host makes a final call, slamming the gavel on the piece once the bidding has reached its crescendo. Funds are sent by the winning bidder to the auction house, and then dispersed to the creator promptly.
