Avax Penguin Family sold out in 8 minutes when it launched on Kalao.io, setting a record for the quickest sellout of a large scale NFT project on Avalanche to date. Of course, this meant that many of our potential Peng friends couldn’t get their hands on a Peng due to its popularity.
As Honorary Peng’s ourselves (#009), we strongly believe in the project goals and what the Peng Family team are building and so we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to increase our potential list of future metaverse friends.
Our team decided that we would give one of our coveted Peng NFTs to a follower that could give us the best reason for needing to own a Peng.

All of the participants made a genuine effort to justify why they needed a Peng in their own way and to celebrate this we decided to collect some of our favourite responses.
